21 finalists of Miss Nepal US selected

KATHMANDU, July 23: The organizer of Miss Nepal US national pageant has enlisted the top 21 finalists.

The organizer has believed that the competition will serve as a platform to represent young generation as a youth icon and promote Nepal globally.

The contest paves the way to promote Nepalese American young talent, culture, signifance and support causes on an international platform, the organizer has claimed.

Different socio-cultural agendas and consciousness programs are promoted through this stage including the theme of “Rebuilding Nepal” for the effect of disastrous earthquake of 2015. Charity events have also been organized in New York to support the victims of the calamity.

The winner will be awarded with 5,000 USD scholarships and honored with the title of the Honorary Goodwill Ambassador to Nepal Tourism Board to promote Visit Nepal 2020 campaign. 

Similarly, the title holder will earn international fame and wide acclaim.

In addition, the title of Goodwill Ambassador of Soarway Foundation will also be prized to the winner.

Miss Nepal US focuses to rebuild Nepal through charity and promoting Tourism.

Aditi Shrestha, Aisha Ojha, Anjila Poudel, Barsha Baral,  Bianca Adhikary, Bina Shrestha, Dilasha Neupane, Jaya Tripathi, Kriti Dhungel, Lhakpa Sherpa, Neliya Gurung, Posha G Thapa, Prabesika Khatri, Priyanka Timalsina, Sapana Gautam, Sapana Maharjan , Shreya Nepali, Sujana Rupakheti, Sukrity Dhungel, Sushana Pokhrel, Swikriti Bhattarai are the finalists representing various states of the US. 

The pageant is scheduled to be held on August 19 at the Grand Center, Plano, Texas, USA
